Push and roll an iron Sphere with a diameter of 179 cm., accross the road of italian towns.
Fibonacci sequence 0, 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21… 358 divided by 2 = 179 cm, the diameter of the Sphere. Dividing by 2 has always been a constant in my life, from elementary school to university.

Why push a Sphere from Lanuvio to Venice?
Madness? A personal challenge? Or simply leaving a trace of one’s passage on Earth through one’s own world — my Sphere?
Honestly, I wouldn’t know what to tell you.
Ideas come. You see them, you feel them, and you want to make them real.
Is it to impress people?
No. I do it because I need to.
There is no motivation — only necessity.
Whether it is considered as Art or not, sincerely, does not concern me.
As Paolo De Grandis always told me:
“You do. Create. Don’t worry about them. While others waste time deciding whether it is art or not, YOU MAKE THE ART OF YOURSELF. Move forward and never stop.”
I want to bring my world to Venice, where you lived.
I imagine the words you would have used to approve the work.
Like that day at Termini Station, in a rush — you were leaving for Venice — I told you about the Polusca project, and with just a few words you supported the conquest of the world through the Peasant Warriors.
From there, the conquest began.
Today I will realize this work for myself, but dedicate it to you.
The Journey
I want to attraverse Italy by foot, pushing an iron sphere, letting it roll along the road.
I want people to come out into the streets beside me and help me to roll the Sphere — even just for one meter.
The idea of bringing a smile, the idea of people feeling part of something, makes me feel good and continue along my path.

How will the project be funded?
Primarily through the sale of artworks.
I will create 10,000 small white spheres (15 cm diameter), each with a face drawn on it and numbered from 1 to 10,000.
Each one handmade — therefore unique.
The project will be promoted through a communication campaign across all social media platforms, television networks, and national and local newspapers.
A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the numbered spheres will be donated to charity.
Where will I sleep? Where will I eat?
A camper van will follow me — not only for accommodation and meals, but also for personal safety and assistance uphill or downhill (the sphere is designed with bearing anchoring systems).
However, considering the generosity of Italians, I believe many restaurants and hotels may host me to contribute to the success of the project.
The Sphere
I will build the sphere myself.
It will be made of iron — a humble material. A precious material is not necessary to make an idea great.
The entire project will be broadcast live across social media.
There will be a dedicated website with real-time updates of the route and completed stages.
The distance between Lanuvio and Venice is approximately 512 km, requiring about 117 hours on foot. Considering detours (no highways), weather conditions, rest stops, and unforeseen circumstances, estimating 600 km total, the project will be completed within 2–3 months — an average of 10 km per day.
Pre-Performance
On May 31, 2026, I will hold a pre-performance to introduce the project.
On a Sunday morning, after breakfast at Casale della Mandria, the sphere will begin rolling toward the historic center of Lanuvio — approximately 8.9 km — concluding with a large public buffet.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity (organization to be determined).
